If the floor is uneven, then level the floor first. Before you start, check each pack for any manufacturing faults. Tools required for the fitting: spacers, saw, spirit level, metre ruler, taping block and rubber mallet. All floors with laid floating wood, laminate, carpet, vinyl and natural fibres must be removed beforehand. This flooring can be laid on concrete and tiles with a maximum joint width of 10mm and maximum depth of 2mm. In general, it is recommended to use PE foil on any type of subfloor to promote floating of the floor on a sliding layer. See manufacturer’s guide for detailed instructions for fitting.
